Me-2
Hello there and welcome to my website. I’m a photographer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where I live and work.
I’ve always been intrigued by the way the world looks from behind a lens. One day I walked into a store and bought my first SLR and I’ve been doing this ever since. Self taught and self learning, my vision is shaped by my life’s experiences.
Photography. What does it mean to me? I think it’s about moments, about being there at the right time and right place to capture their fleeting nature. It’s not just about telling a story, it’s about asking questions. It’s about ideas, light, about appreciating simple treasures and the beauty of life.
My photography is from time to time interrupted by my work – I earn my keep as a lawyer.
Hello there and welcome to my photo blog.
You’ll find here news and updates relating to my photography (you can check out my main website here), and other photography-related bits and bobs. This blog is photography-centric, but I likely will go off on a tangent every now and then.

    Ziad,

I love your pics, they are great! I am cofounder of a small gps company and would like to purchase one of your photos for a poster. The image is nightdrive-1.jps, is it available in 200dpi? Can you please send me email and let me know if your photos are available for purchase? My email addr is bettyt@directtrax.com.

    Thank you,
    Betty

I love your photgraphs – they have so much to say – and the viewer is always looking for the part of the story the photo does not tell. Thanks.

    Hi Sandra,
Apologies for the late reply – Thank you very much! Am very happy you’ve enjoyed my work. I’m always up for exploring more abandoned places – so thank you for the suggestions. As it happens, I know the old palace in Sawfar quite well, I got married there earlier this summer. :) Will have to go back up and check out the old hotel though. Thanks for the tip!
    Best, Z!
